What began as a small effort during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic to support families in need has blossomed into one of CAPC’s most cherished annual traditions. The Community Harvest Event brings together the power of community and generosity to ensure that families facing hardships can enjoy a warm and meaningful Thanksgiving.

This year, we were thrilled to host 100 families at Vons Whittwood Town Center, providing each with a $25 gift card to shop for Thanksgiving essentials. A heartfelt thank you to Athens Services for sponsoring the gift cards, Chick-fil-A for donating lunch for our families, and the Hispanic Outreach Taskforce (HOT) for making two lucky families smile with their donation of bicycles for a special raffle.

This event is a testament to how much we can achieve when we come together to support one another. Thank you to our sponsors, partners, and volunteers for helping us grow this event year after year. Together, we are making the holiday season brighter for our community.
